To do this you will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and be driven to achieve high standards operationally and against bottom line targets. You will also need to have knowledge of financial procedures including budgets and sales forecasting.
You will be a good people manager and have extensive experience of a similar level role in a trade or retail environment. With your building materials, industry and trade knowledge you will excel in communicating with our customers and colleagues at all levels and will be able to organise your team and manage competing priorities.
Deputising for the Branch General Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the day to day business. We pride ourselves on the success of the Selco brand and strive to ensure customers receive the products they need, easily and at a great price. You will maximise profit whilst minimising costs and you will achieve this by using your ability to make efficient business focused decisions and negotiation skills. You will lead, motivate and engage a workforce that is the envy of the Industry.
